Rogue Trainer Macy

She is a cunning Zoroark that enjoys playing mind games with illusions. Her pranks usually range from turning rocks into money to turning hornets' nests into piñatas and fooling people into hitting them with baseball bats. While her practical jokes can be quite cruel, she isn't so mean all the time. While she can come off as someone who is tough and abrasive, she still has some compassion left inside and can be a good shoulder to lean on for comfort in times of emotional hardship. Macy enjoys listening to classical music, as it helps soothe her when stressed. She also likes to motivate friends, and can occasionally be quite energetic; however, lots of energy comes at a price and she must take lots of naps. Sometimes she takes too many naps. Those who disturb her slumber do not always escape unscathed, as it is harder for her to control her fiery temper when she lacks sleep. If she becomes too sleep deprived, she starts acting very weird and a short temper becomes the least of peoples' worries...

Macy was the result of a trainer who was very determined to get a shiny Pokemon with fantastic stats. When she hatched from her egg, she had wonderful stats—all except for her defense. As a little Zorua, she tried her best to make her trainer happy. She looked up to them like a parent. However, taking supereffective physical attacks easily fainted her in battles. No matter how hard she tried, the enemy would always find her weakness. Her trainer hated that, but did not want to go through the long time it took to get another shiny Pokemon. The scoldings she received blamed everything on her, but she couldn't help that she was born with a stat that was lower than the rest. Sometimes she'd be insulted, treated like trash, and even hit by the very trainer she looked up to. Macy would try to run away, but would end up crawling back out of hunger. This led to her being put on a leash until she grew older.

Because of her unstable childhood, she didn't exactly grow up with many marbles in her head. If other humans tried to pet her, she'd flinch because she thought they were going to strike her. The only way she could properly let off steam is in Pokemon battles; the move Frustration often won her battles when used as a last resort. She didn't get to use that move very often because she was usually used as a last resort if her trainer's previous Pokemon on the team fainted; she was always placed last.

One fateful day, Macy got lucky when her trainer thought they could win a battle with a member of Team Flare. She saw light at the end of the dark tunnel, and that light was her key to escaping the vicious cycle she was in...
