Description
Damian is a highly radioactive species of dragon. He is 7'4" and weighs 260 lbs. The place on Earth he was born in was heavily polluted with unusually high background radiation. Like other dragons that were born in this area, his genes mutated and became very resistant to the radioactive environment.
When he was born, he was neglected by his parents because he was the runt out of the 6 others that hatched. This caused him to hold a grudge against his mother and father, cursing them and swearing that he would do whatever it took to seek vengeance on them. He then let his body get taken over by demons, turning the sclerae of his eyes and the fire he breathed pitch black. Those who got too close could feel the darkness emanating from the demons hiding inside of him. The symbol on his necklace is flipped upside-down to signify the entropy of unholiness.
When not completely and utterly possessed, Damian can be a calm and kind dragon with a good sense of humor. The demons sometimes lie dormant within Damian; when they show themselves and take full control, his irises turn very dark and he appears to be bleeding out of his eye sockets. His personality takes on a drastic change when he is possessed; his attitude becomes more aggressive, and his actions become erratic.
The evil that takes control of him during the episodes he has can sometimes turn him insane, causing him to laugh arbitrarily and experience strange hallucinations that make him think that he's under a curse. The episodes Damian experiences caused by the demons within him can last up to 11.1 hours and can come and go without warning; after an episode, he has no recollection of what occurred within its duration and has severe headaches similar to experiencing a hangover.
Damian had met a Japanese dragon named Sachi one stormy night when she had traveled to the United States by sea. They shared a shelter together under an old building, and shared stories and customs with each other. Seeing the close similarities they shared, Sachi and Damian became very good friends, eventually being mates. Instead of living in one place, they travel around the country together in a nomadic way.
This OC was heavily influenced by Imagine Dragons. For some reason, I imagine his voice to sound like Dan Reynolds' voice... ID
